PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM) Holds Shareholders Meeting (RUPS), Reviewing Last Year's Performance

PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM) had a commendable performance throughout the past year. According to the company's financial results, revenue from contracts with customers reached US$1.49 billion, growing by 3.2% from the previous year, with a net profit margin of 19.36%, up from 18.67% in the prior year. The current year's distributable profit to the parent entity amounted to US$269.91 million. Meanwhile, total equity reached US$758.93 million, marking a 22.9% increase compared to 2022's figure of approximately US$617.5 million.

The robust performance of ABM Group is attributed to the company's adeptness in anticipating fluctuating global market conditions, as evidenced by exceeding targets in meeting customer needs throughout the past year.

Through its subsidiaries, this strategic investment company specializing in integrated mining and energy solutions actively responded to dynamic economic conditions by enhancing operational excellence across all job fields.

"Operational Excellence has always been the Company's primary strategy to maximize efficiency and maintain operational effectiveness, with worker safety as a top priority," said PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM) President Director Achmad Ananda Djajanegara, known as Andi, following the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) and Public Expose (Pubex) event on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Throughout 2023, ABM Group focused on enhancing capital management and actively evaluating investment portfolios to ensure maximum value addition and returns, in line with the sustainability strategy currently being implemented by ABMM.

In meeting market demands, Cipta Kridatama (CK), a subsidiary of ABMM, successfully became the fourth largest mining contractor in 2023. Notably, CK also achieved a record overburden removal volume of 276.56 million Bank Cubic Meters (BCM) last year, marking its best performance to date.

From a logistics perspective, ABM Group's business was supported by Cipta Krida Bahari (CKB Logistics), currently operating in 43 districts and 22 provinces across Indonesia, achieving an On Time Delivery (OTD) rate of 94.67% last year. Furthermore, Sanggar Sarana Baja (SSB) secured work contracts with several giant companies for infrastructure projects in the mining sector, totaling 2.3 million productive hours throughout 2023.

Thanks to its outstanding performance, ABM Group is strategizing for the current year by optimizing group synergies, prioritizing safety and workplace security, and maximizing financial performance.
