JAKARTA, July 1, 2019 - PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM) through its subsidiary which is a mining services contractor, PT Cipta Kridatama (CK), again secured its latest contract towards the end of the first semester of 2019. CK's positive step was marked by a cooperation agreement with PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU), a coal mining company whose mining location is located in Kutai Kertanegara and Samarinda, East Kalimantan, with a contract value of US $ 337 million.

The cooperation contract was signed by CK Managing Director Feriwan Sinatra, MHU President Director Adhi Dharma Mustopo, and MHU Director Achmad Zuhraidi in Jakarta. CK Managing Director Feriwan Sinatra said, the collaboration with MHU was a positive step for CK in strengthening the company's performance in the early semester of 2019.

"Alhamdulillah, the trust from MHU in the first semester has increasingly underlined the consistency of CK's position as a partner of mining service contractors who have a strong commitment in helping mining businesses generate strong production numbers with the support of proper mining governance. CK's work commitment is done professionally and well according to the mining compliance value standards, including of course by always paying attention to occupational safety and environmental health in each of our work environments,” said Feriwan Sinatra.

In this partnership, CK will assist MHU mining business activities in the form of heavy equipment leasing and overburden removal which is targeted to reach 36 million Bcm (Bank Cubic Meter) each year with a maximum cooperation period of 5 years. The total target volume of overburden removal in the mining area is expected to reach 180 million Bcm.

The achievement of the cooperation agreement with MHU is a continuation of CK's success in developing its positive performance as a competitive mining contractor in the national mining environment. Previously at the end of February 2019, CK also managed to gain trust through its new contract of work with the mining company PT Muara Alam Sejahtera (MAS).

"We will continue to develop this step through various innovations and positive initiatives in conducting mining cooperation in various mining locations. Trust in working with mining businesses is an important factor for CK to further develop, to meet positive mine performance targets in the future,” Feriwan concluded.
